Toscana, an Italian gem nestled in Charlotte's Specialty Shops at Southpark, consistently garners rave reviews from patrons enchanted by its authentic cuisine and inviting atmosphere. The restaurant's house-made pasta shines, particularly the Agnolotti stuffed with roasted veal and Swiss chard, elegantly paired with a brown butter sage sauce—a dish that's keenly celebrated for its depth of flavor at $28.95. Seafood enthusiasts cannot miss the Mare, a lavish medley of lobster, scallops, and shrimp over linguini, which has earned accolades for its freshness and taste. Reviewers appreciate the restaurant's warm service and ambiance, often comparing it to a culinary trip to Italy. Jon Silla describes Toscana as his favorite Italian spot, where each visit feels like a delightful escape. Celebratory touches, such as personalized birthday greetings, add a special flair to dining occasions, as noted by Leonardo Scarpati. The drink options, including pomegranate martinis, enhance the dining experience, rounding out the exquisite meal. While some patrons suggest the service can feel less personal, the overall experience remains noteworthy. Toscana’s commitment to quality and traditional Italian flavors makes it a must-visit for anyone in search of a memorable seafood and pasta dining experience in Charlotte.

Always great! My all time favorite Italian restaurant anywhere! Look at all the great meals I have had here! Always Fantastic, always happy! I feel like I am in eating in Italy for a short time..... Even the music is Italian. The service that I get here is great! If the weather is good try to sit outside. This place is in the" specialty shops" at south park. Thank you Augusto! Never disappointed..

If you're looking for an amazing seafood spot in Charlotte, this is it! I had the crab cake appetizer, and let me tell you, it was out of this world—hands down the best crab cakes I've ever had! The main dish was just as impressive, with incredibly fresh fish that was delicious. I can’t wait to come back for another visit! Said and Shafik were so welcoming and made the experience even better with their top-notch service. Thanks for a fantastic meal!

Went to Toscana to celebrate my wife's birthday, I mentioned this in the reservation. To our surprise there was a birthday card wishing my wife a happy birthday when we arrived at the table. We started with the Beef Carpaccio (wife LOVED IT) and Bruschetta (I wish the menu had stated it came with balsamic vinegar). For main dishes my wife ordered the Mare (LOVED IT) and I ordered the Pollo Medici (REALLY GOOD). Overall a great dinner and the staff were fantastic. I would recommend for a special occasion or family celebration.

My food was excellent. I have the cavatelli and meatballs. Everything was perfect. Pomegranate martini was pretty good too.

If you want really good Italian seafood, beyond spaghetti and meatballs, this is where you go. I had a fantastic Branzino dish here that normally I can only get when in Florida. Drinks are good here too. Staffs are attentive but I wouldn’t say they are friendly. The restaurant is located in the specialty shops behind Southpark mall.

Excellent service and wonderful Italian meal. Came here with my colleagues for dinner. They were extremely busy which was a great sign. We got one of each appetizer and were all delicious. I ended up ordering the halibut special with crab meat and pasta. Halibut was perfectly seared and cooked. Looking around at empty plates everyone else liked it as well. Dessert wise the canolli was my favorite. Flavorful but not too overtly sweet. Awesome little Italian gem here in Charlotte.

We sat outside. And it was a beautiful evening in Charlotte. It felt like being somewhere in Italy. The food, the service, and the atmosphere were excellent.

We were here yesterday as part of my boyfriend's birthday celebration and it was perfect. We had started to go somewhere else as we were having a 'go as you feel' vibe for the day since that's his thing, but the other place was super crowded and so we looked for a nearby alternative for Italian and I'm glad we did. Though all the tables were reserved the lady on the phone was super helpful and saved us a tabletop by the bar. My boyfriend had the lasagna and I had the vitello piccata. For dessert the staff brought a birthday tiramisu that rivals the one I make;) Delicious food and perfect experience.
